New year greetings

A warm welcome to you all this new year. It has been a privilege and pleasure servicing multiple institutions all over Africa with enterprise systems curricula, software and technical support. A total of 331 students and 10 Lecturers were trained in 2018, covering ES fundamental knowledge and/or integrated with Information Systems, Accounting, Engineering and Computer Science related content. We look forward to working with these and more institutions for the year ahead, as well as the many exciting opportunities in store for 2019.

What’s new and coming up

We have been implementing a migration to the SAP S/4HANA system since June of last year for teaching purposes.

S/4HANA is a business suite that is built on SAP's proprietary operational database system and in-memory computing platform called SAP HANA. This ERP software package attempts to cover all day-to-day processes of an enterprise and its core capabilities.

 
The S/4HANA business suite we have implemented has a new more intuitive Fiori UI. In addition, the S/4HANA system introduces changes to the way SAP handles financial accounts and business partners (suppliers and customers).

 
We have undertaken a new implementation (green field) scenario and have migrated master and transactional data from the SAP ERP system.

We are currently completing the Implementation of the SAP GUI transactions of our SAP S/4HANA migration. Thereafter, we’ll begin with the implementation of the Fiori transactions. The entire project migration implementation is scheduled to be completed by July this year.
