Ms Karin Reissenauer and Ms Anjali Ramburn travelled to Mauritius to present the ESEFA partnership programme to the University of Mauritius and the University of Technology, Mauritius:

Prof Lisa Seymour and Mr Gwamaka Mwalemba (both from UCT) together with Mr Patrick Wirz from OVGU travelled to Tanzania to present the ESEFA partnership to the University of Dar-es-Salaam:
Ms Karin Reissenauer and Mr Gwamaka Mwalemba from UCT visited Zambia again to present the ESEFA partnership to the University of Zambia.

Prof Lisa Seymour travelled to Ghana to present the ESEFA partnership to the African University College of Communications and to deliver a paper at the “International Conference on Emerging Trends for Sustainable Development and Human Capacity Building in the Third World Nations”.
2nd ESEFA-Partner - Kenya: Strathmore University joins the ESEFA programme.

June 2014

UCT’s Department of Information Systems launches the ESEFA ‘ES Fundamentals for Business’ short course to UCT students from multiple disciplines and TSiBA Education students.
UP launches the ESEFA ‘ES Fundamentals for Business’ short course in EBIT (Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment & IT) to students in the Department of Informatics and the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.
3rd ESEFA-Partner - Nigeria: University of Ibadan (UI) joins the ESEFA programme.
4th ESEFA-Partner - Tanzania: University of Dar-es-Salaam (UDSM) joins the ESEFA programme.

UCT launches its first Train the Lecturer course for ESEFA-Partner universities:
5th ESEFA-Partner - Zambia: University of Zambia (UNZA) joins the ESEFA programme.
6th ESEFA-Partner - Ghana: African University College of Communications (AUCC) joins the ESEFA programme.
Dr Olufemi Adetunji (from UP) travelled to Botswana to present the ESEFA partnership to the University of Botswana.
Prof Alta van der Merwe (from UP) visited Namibia to present the ESEFA partnership to the Polytechnic of Namibia (PON) (transforming into the Namibia University of Science and Technology).

August 2014

7th ESEFA-Partner- Mauritius: University of Mauritius (UoM) joins the ESEFA programme.
UCT integrates the ESEFA curriculum into its 3rd year Information Systems (IS) course INF3012S.
8th ESEFA-Partner – Namibia: Polytechnic of Namibia (PON) (transforming into Namibia University of Science and Technology) joins the ESEFA programme.

September 2014

Mr Gwamaka Mwalemba and Ms Karin Reissenauer travelled to Uganda to present the ESEFA partnership to Makerere University, Kampala.
9th ESEFA-Partner - Botswana: University of Botswana (UB) joins the ESEFA programme.
