TSiBA Education, 307 Forest Drive Extension, Pinelands, Cape Town, South Africa

Course Overview:

Faculty members from universities in the Sub-Saharan region are invited to participate in the Enterprise System Education for Africa (ESEFA) Train-the-Lecturer programme, offered by the Academic Competence Centre (ACC) for SAP in Africa, from 3 to 7 April 2018.

This course provides a general overview of Enterprise Systems (ES) using SAP ERP software. The real case study with supported video material cements the theoretical foundation of the system and business processes by putting theory into practice using integrated business processes. The “Guided learning” method used in SAP workshops explains processes and procedures in detail and makes sure knowledge is imparted quickly. Course participants learn about a number of theoretical and practical issues concerning business processes and their mapping into an enterprise system.

After completing this course, participants will be able to identify and match real-life business processes into ES business processes and navigate through SAP ERP processes. The course consists of a core curriculum comprising ERP concepts, SAP Navigation together with the Procure-to-Pay, Sales-to-Cash and Inventory Management business processes. The course can be concluded with an ES Fundamentals qualification exam.

This course uses the customized Enterprise System Education for Africa (ESEFA) curriculum.

Attendance is free but delegates are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs. For further information, please contact ESEFA Centre Manager at gt.mwalemba@uct.ac.za.
